Goings On

Well, well, well. Quite a bit has been going on around here! First things first. We love our new place! It has taken a little bit to get settled in, but now that we are it has been wonderful.

Things we like about our new place...
-the floor is intact and does not cave in when we walk over it
 -a dishwasher!
-washer and dryer inside!
-new carpet, new paint, just "new"
 -this bad boy!
It's adult sized!

In other news...Justin has officially graduated from culinary school last week! He won the academic achievement award and was named valedvictiorian of his class! All of his hard work has finally paid off.

Justin also found out some exciting news the evening before graduation. He secured a job working as a food runner at The French Laundry!! Eeeee!!!!! For this of you who do not know the amazingness of TFL, it is one of the best restaurants in the world. Justin will learn so much here and everyone was extremely excited to hear that he got the job. Check this out if you have no idea what we are talking about! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_French_Laundry

Cotati California!

We moved! I know you are anxiously awaiting photos of our new place but we are still in the midst of a disaster area. Once we get it just a bit more organized I will definitely be posting it in all it's glory. For now, here are some fun facts about the move

Our friends, the Matlicks and the Hughes, kicked serious butt and drove their trucks all the way from their homes to St. Helena (just under an hour trek up the hill) and helped Justin and I move all our crap.

We are forever grateful for these guys and their selflessness and awesome attitude about being our new -sort of- neighbors.

We met both these couples through our church and we are really looking forward to living within 5 minutes of them both.

Our new place is tiny, super tiny, with almost no storage. But it's a GOOD thing because it is forcing us to slim down like crazy and only stick with our essentials.

Our new place is downtown. This means I could get a job that I could walk to! Eeeep! Also, downtown Cotati is pretty darn cute. We are in a newer developed beautiful neighborhood with walking trails and parks galor.

We are within five minutes to:

Target
Costco
In-N-Out
El Pollo Loco
Escape (in-door go carting, laser tag, fun to be had)
Scandia (basically a boomers)
Home Depot
Movie theatre - a legit one!
Friends!

just to name a few!

We are pretty stoked to say the least.

Stayed tuned for pictures!
